In the role on Patient Care Tech at Baylor Scott & White Hospital, my responsibilities included providing essential care and support for patients under the supervision of nursing staff. I worked in the Emergency Room Department and observation unit primarily, however i was floated around the hospital gaining experience in many different levels of care. I am familiar with ICU, NICU, PCU, Oncology, and L&D care. This involved monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe environment for patients. This role demanded quick thinking and effective communication in high pressure situations, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
As a Patient Care Tech at University of New Mexico Hospital, i provided hands-on patient care in various settings, ensuring comfort and support for individuals in need.
