Marissa Reed

My name is Marissa Reed and I am 20 years young. I started working at the age of 16 at Publix supermarket as a bagger this is where I learned to be outgoing in a fast paced environment. Then continued through highschool where I worked as a sales associate for South Beach Tanning in multiple locations and thrived selling products and demonstrating a love for tanning and creating bonds with each person walking through the doors. I then proceeded to graduate highschool early in December of 2023 and work for Dicks Sporting Goods. It started out as an apparel position but as I was cross trained in different positions we found being up at the front end was where I was meant to be. Helping others is my strong suit on my third month in I became a CSS (customer service specialist) thriving in difficult situations having to address customer needs effectivity but most importantly holding a leadership role where I can help motivate and contribute in any possible way for my team.

As I love my current job and position I also stride to further my knowledge and career. When choosing the next best opportunity for myself I look for a family feel while also having the ability to grow within a company. As I may start in one position I would hope to then be in a direction to excel and take on more responsibility and learn and grow within the company.
