I'd like to teach a Yin Yoga/Mindfulness Meditation class at PHFC. I would lead students through the long-held passive stretches of Yin Yoga, then close each class with a 5-minute guided meditation.
I taught multiple sections per semester of Introduction to World Religions. My smallest classes held 65 students; my lecture hall classes held 175 students.
Taught two survey courses: Introduction to World Humanities I and II. Also taught Introduction to World Religions.
I wrote five novels during this period. My first novel was published in 10 languages. The second was published in four languages and sold out its first press-run in Holland.
After that, my writing career flat-lined, so I returned to college and earned my Master's in Interdisciplinary Humanities, with a concentration in Comparative Religion.
I began as Senior Editor, writing three or four articles per issue (using pseudonyms) and managing a stable of freelancers. Then I moved back to Florida (for my wife's career), and continued at Men's Health as Contributing Editor.
I wrote feature news stories and a weekly column.
I worked as a neuromuscular therapist and co-taught with Paul St. John (one of the founders of NMT) this type of trigger-point massage in workshops to certify licensed massage therapists. During this time, I also taught anatomy and physiology at the Suncoast School of Massage in Clearwater, Florida.
