Reviews and Recommendations

To Whom It May Concern:

Please allow this letter to serve as an endorsement of Mark Citron for any position as play-by-play announcer in the sport of hockey.

I had the privilege of working alongside Mark for three seasons with the Chicago Steel. He is a talented broadcaster who is on a significant upwards trajectory showing both dedication to, and improvement in, his craft each year. In addition to creating his own unique style on the air, Mark is a wonderful person off it. He builds relationships with the players and staff alike and shows a genuine care for the well-being of his colleagues and their families.

From a manager’s perspective, I believe the most important characteristic connecting those in my chair to those in Mark’s chair is trust. I can unequivocally say there are few people that I would trust more than Mark Citron. He is loyal - he knows what he can share on-air and what is to remain private - which helps foster meaningful relationships between him to all of those who work alongside him.

I would recommend Mark Citron, without hesitation, for any role within his field.

Ryan Hardy
