Currently a Honda Master Technician at Capital City Honda. I am a team leader and manage five Technicians. Under my watch I train and guide them to repair vehicles correctly to OEM specifications. I allocate correct tools for use and provide knowledge so the repairs will be done correctly and in a timely manner. I am a dispatcher for repair orders for our team to ensure all Technicians get a fair distribution of work and hours. I also have to make sure my efficiency is 100% and above while I am repairing and diagnosing vehicles on my own.

• basic maintenance such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, setting tire pressure, brake inspection, set fluid levels to spec. and perform a thorough multi point inspection
• advanced maintenance such as timing belt replacement, timing chain replacement, valve adjustment, spark plug replacement, transmission fluid service, differential services, brake fluid services, engine coolant services
• performed minor repairs such as brakes repair, axle boot and axle replacement, tire replacement and balance, alignments, electrical components
• performed major repairs such as engine replacements, transmission replacements, engine rebuilds, manual transmission rebuilds, steering rack replacement, HVAC repairs
• performed basic and advanced diagnostics of all systems on vehicle from mechanical, electrical and drivability concerns along with check engine light diagnostic
• Stayed current on industry trends, attending training workshops to expand technical knowledge and skills.

As a Lube Technician i performed duties such as

• Enhanced shop productivity by consistently completing lubrication tasks within specified timeframes.
• Worked alone or in team-based systems to complete oil changes each day.
• Inspected vehicles to determine need for changing oils and filters and provided feedback to customers.
• Checked fluids, tires, brakes, and other systems and performed thorough multi-point inspections
• Replaced minor parts such as brake pads/shoes and resurface brake rotors/drums, mounts and basic lube services

Performed tasks such as oil and filter change, tire rotation, brake replacement, removal and replacement of vehicle components and diagnostic of Honda and Acura vehicles, but the majority of the time I was heavy duty and replaced transmissions and engines, Also rebuilt manual transmissions for Honda and Acura vehicles
