I have been a Civil Air Patrol Cadet and an Air Force Junior ROTC Cadet for three years. Within this time, I have held critical leadership positions and directed many tasks ranging from opening for the unit daily to conducting Physical Training weekly and organizing and directing the education of Flight and Aerospace often. I plan to attend the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado after attending AFJROTC and Civil Air Patrol for five total years, and becoming a Fighter Pilot for the United States Air Force after that. To prepare to apply to the USAFA, I have been working on my GPA of 3.8 and taking rigorous courses that are preferred by the Academy. I have also been giving my all in AFJROTC and Civil Air Patrol.
I had demonstrated the qualities of Leadership, Integrity, and Excellence for not only one quarter of the year, but for three straight years with no end in sight. For this I received the award of Cadet of the Quarter in my AFJROTC Corps, OH-20171. This was awarded to me by my Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, Retired Lieutenant Colonel Chas. Peterson, as well as my Aerospace Science Instructor, Retired Chief Master Sergeant Becky Hale. This is an incredible accomplishment, and I earned it 100%.
