  • Lead the coordination of the annual Move-Out Donation Drive in collaboration with the Sustainability Program Manager, facilitating campus-wide contributions and promoting sustainability initiatives.
  • Manage the Diaper Bank Program by monitoring monthly inventory, calculating diaper needs by size, scheduling delivery dates, and communicating updates and instructions to diaper bank members.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of Grocery Rescue Program donations by submitting data via the MealConnect platform, coordinating closures with grocery partners, and developing new surveys for data collection for the academic year.
  • Serve as the Community Host Partner for the College Corps program, supervising student participants, managing and approving timesheets, attending program events, and addressing questions or concerns in collaboration with program leadership.
  • Operate the 22-foot Mobile Food Pantry truck after completing 15 hours of behind-the-wheel training, coordinating daily schedules, calculating inventory needs, and reserving transportation to ensure successful mobile distributions.
  • Conduct one-on-one Basic Needs consultations with student team members, offering resources, answering questions, and fostering connections to ensure a positive experience at the Basic Needs Center.
  • Review and process applications for the Basic Needs Assistance Form, assisting students facing financial or food insecurity by distributing emergency resources.
  • Collaborate with the Economic Crisis Response Team to assess applications for the Economic Crisis Response Grant, ensuring clear and compassionate communication with applicants regarding outcomes and next steps.

Fellowship

NUFP (2021-2022)

  • The NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP) is a fellowship for undergraduate students aspiring to become professionals in the fields of student affairs and higher education. Each Fellow is paired with a mentor for the academic year. The mentor team is made up of professional staff members currently working in Housing, Dining, and Auxiliary Services or the Division of Student Affairs at UCSB. Some responsibilities as a fellow included weekly meetings with assigned mentor, bi-weekly seminar attendance, mid-year research presentation, culminating research project, assigned reading, and participating in community activities.
