Hello, my name is Mark Gonzales, and I'm going to be sharing with you my experience as a car detailer. I will start off with a little background on how I came to be where I am. I'll begin by saying that I was born here in San Angelo, TX. My family works at a dealership where I began working at my first job at 15. I started as a porter boy, running around taping buyers' guides on windshields, running back inside to take out the trash, and aimlessly missing the dumpster. It truly was a building experience.
From there, once I turned 16-17, I started getting more hands-on with the cars. Detailing was definitely a big one, especially with used cars; they can never be too clean. This really brought out the attention to detail aspect in my life. Once I got the hang of that for a while, I started moving toward higher-paying jobs. This has brought me a lot of new experience and strategy in how I handle my work environment and the people in it.
Working as a detailer has brought me rational, logical, and logistical thinking to carve a path toward a better future. I know the only way to do that is with persistence. So, I want to devote myself to working for you, so I can make opportunity and find a way to a better place.
RUN, RUN, RUN is what I like to do for FUN. It's truly one of my enjoyments. I could morning run, and some coffee can go a long way.
I have a certificate with 3M for tenting. This is truly a good skill to pick up on, and another for Howard College welding.
