
On December of 2024, I received the Keith Crossland Domestic Violence Advocacy for my work with protecting Victims of Domestic Violence.
In this role, I assisted with Domestic Violence cases by performing case management/monitoring functions in Domestic Violence Counties where a need is established. I responded to violations and assisted with offender violations by approving 1182’s (Write-Ups), Citations, and Arrest Warrants. I served as a Mentor for DV Agents, assisted with DV-coordinated community response meetings and DV events, and participated in law enforcement training and deployments. Furthermore, I received the Keith Crossland Domestic Violence Advocacy Award while serving in this role. I have served, and continue to serve, in this role since May of 2024.
In this role, my duties were supervising a specialized caseload of offenders convicted of a Domestic Violence charge. I enforced the Domesitc Violence conditions of probation by conducting Home Visits and Field Visits, issuing Drug Tests, conducting monthly Group Reports, searches for Firearms and Weapons inside the Offenders residence, ensuring No-Contact orders are being followed if one exists, and regular contact with the Batterer’s Intervention provider to monitor class progress. I served full time in this role for 2 and 1/2 years at the Anderson office.
I managed a specialized caseload of offenders convicted of a sex offense and that are also required to register as a Sex Offender. My duties were to mandate treatment to address dynamic risk factors, conduct home visits and employment verifications, searching all electronic devices that each offender owns for the presence of pornographic material. Also, maintaining contact with the service provider to ensure attendance, participation, and compliance in the court-ordered sex offender counseling. Lastly, enforcing the Sex Offender Conditions, the Computer/Internet Agreement, and responding to after hours GPS Monitor issues. I previously served in this role full time at the Spartanburg office for almost 2 Years.
I managed a caseload of individuals on Probation, Parole, and other release programs. My duties were conducting home visits, employment verifications, maintaining contact with the service providers (Drug/Alcohol Counseling, Mental Health, Batterers Intervention, etc) to ensure attendance, participation, and compliance. I previously served in this role at the Spartanburg office for about a year and a half.
In this role, I supervised Inmates in a General Population setting. My duties were to write reports using the Spillman system, transport inmates, work the Booking area, random Jail Cell searches, and responding to emergency situations, fights and medical emergencies, inside the Jail. I was employed in this position for two years.
I have nearly 10 years of experience in the Criminal Justice system supervising individuals of various backgrounds and criminal offenses I have Excellent communication skills and am able to adapt quickly
