Testing and Balancing Technician.

Lead Technician on numerous big and small projects including Facebook @ 8th ave post office, Pfizer @ Hudson Yards, and Recent projects including 6 floors at 550 Madison for the Law firm of Clayton Dubliner and Rice, and 3 floors recently at 11 W 57th st for the Law firm Davidson Kempner. I also completed the air balancing at 1 Wall street the largest residential project at the time, being the sole Technician there for 9 months continuously to comeplete this project with the mechanical contractors JDP and the local 28 sheet metal contractors ASM. I also recently finished several floors at Columbia University's Chandler Hall.

Testing and Balancing Technician which included being the sole Technician at 252 w 57th st a 65 story building with Aabco Sheet Metal. I completed numerous residential projects in Long Island city, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Projects for Mount Sinai Hospital and various School Construction projects. This included many office renovation jobs as well.

I was contacted by an agency of the United States Airforce and was asked to be on a recommissioning team to visit U.S Airforce bases to access the conditions of their facilities. I was attached to (AFCESA) the Airforce Civil Engineer Support Agency. I obtained Secret Clearance and visited various bases throughout the United States to access building conditions and recommend solutions and upgrades to bring buildings back to their original design with the emphasis on Energy efficiency.

Test and Balancing Technician. Was the lead Technician for the 1.2 million sq ft project at the Medtronic Headquarters in Arden Hills Minnesota. Worked on the Best buy National account visiting Best buy stores throughout the United states pefoming Air balancing.

Financial Advisor, which included mutual fund sales and Insurance sales and portfolio management.

Held various Insurance licenses and held the 6, 63. and 65 Securities licenses.

Technician, estimator, expeditor, project manager. I worked for my father Robert H. McDermott P. E. for over 20 years throughout college and after. We performed Air balancing services and Professional Engineering services. For over 20 years we provided all Air balancing services to NBC at 30 Rock and to the the Rockefeller Center Management corporation. R.H. McDermott performed the Air balancing services for the renovation of Radio City Music Hall in 1999. We were a main contractor to the SCA performing Air balancing services on numerous school construction projects, where I would be the sole balancer for these projects. We had good relationships with Center Sheet Metal, Donnelly Mechanical A.D Winston, React Industries, J.T. Falk Weickert Sheet Metal, ect
