The Mission Control Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of VH6 vehicles. This position requires constant monitoring of vehicle performance, coordination across multiple teams, and rapid response to dynamic conditions including weather and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the setup and ongoing performance of multiple VH6 vehicles.
• Maintain clear and effective written and verbal communication with Leadership, Tele Operations, Rider Operations, Mission Readiness, and Fleet Response teams.
• Continuously track current and forecasted weather conditions using Weatherdash to anticipate potential impacts on operations.
• Stay informed by reviewing scouting reports and updates via Slack.
• Create and issue Zigalerts as needed to prevent VH6 vehicles from operating outside their Operational Design Domain (ODD).
• Generate and manage ZPTs (Zig Problem Tickets) to document and address operational issues, updating them as new information becomes available.
• Provide shift coverage and support for fellow Mission Control Associates when needed.
• Closely monitor multiple VH6 vehicles while they are active in service to ensure safety and performance standards are met.

• Directs team of 9 test specialists, successfully exceeding production goals within 3 months of team creation
• Demonstrates expertise in specialist scheduling and vehicle dispatching, ensuring efficient and timely operations and improving fleet utilization
• Conducts daily and weekly briefings via Zoom or in-person, effectively communicating important updates and instructions to team members
• Proficiently gathers and tracks information related to operations, maintaining accurate records for analysis and decision-making
• Conducts performance reviews, approve and manage time-off
• Successfully leads group projects, fostering collaboration and achieving project objectives within specified timelines
• Stack troubleshooting skills, resolving technical issues to minimize downtime

• Reviews simulation test scenarios to validate predicted autonomous vehicle behavior
• Documents technical notes, reproducible issues, flag real-time autonomous vehicle events, and support triage and resolution processes
• Contributes to the test execution process and work efficiency improvements to achieve work at scale
• Works cross-functionally with various teams to communicate knowledge and ensure testing is completed in a timely manner
• Integral in high level internal and external vehicle demos
