Work History

Senior Hardware Secrecy Specialist

Apple

  • Helped build and open the first DHX site here in Austin. I was able to construct the business there and meet with teams; helping them securely receive and return large quantities of prototype hardware whilst educating them how to efficiently use our services.
  • Work with vendors (domestic and globally) in regards to shipping and receiving parts and prototypes. Work collaboratively with my teammates, vendors and cross-functional partners to audit and enforce security policies.
  • Coordinate with SIS and the Austin SRM teams to receive and distribute hardware that arrives out of China and Cupertino while also shipping hardware back to SCV and globally.
  • Helped establish best practices for project teams regarding hardware intake, distribution and recall plans for older and current projects; to include helping to create these processes for hardware data centers/ servers coming onboard to Apple
  • Helped create a secured logistics team here in Austin with the help of SRM to safely move hardware around the campus as needed.
  • I've managed the Austin sites solo but now have contract support to assist me as the Austin campus is growing at a fast pace. I worked very hard building and maintaining relationships with all the engineering teams, recycles team, and SIS security giving the confidence needed for a successful operation.
