While working at Kwik Trip I have done everything throughout the store. I have fired chicken, worked the register, and been on what we call maintenance. I like to do whatever is asked of me and required of me on a day-to-day basis. While working at Kwik Trip I have learned time management, how to problem-solve situations, along with learning how to de-escalate situations whether this is with guests or co-workers who are having an issue with each other. However, the most important skill I learned while working at Kwik Trip is the ability to talk to people. I have learned to speak loud and clear so people can hear me. Another good skill I have developed is looking people in the eyes when I talk to them. Before I would struggle with talking clearly, looking at people in the eyes, along with being awkward.
