I have over 3 years of experience in manufacturing while working at Cenveo. Overall it was a great experience that ended in disappointment. I have learned from my experience and improved my time management skills and if I could be rehired I would be honored. I miss the work that I did and the people I worked with. - I did a lot of different tasks at Cenveo. My main responsibility was setting up, maintaining and operating envelope making machines to ensure quality production.
- I inspected for envelope deficits such as rollouts, fold outs, gum issues and printing errors.
- I had a good relationship with all of my co-workers and supervisors and even trained oncoming operators on several occasions on how to properly do the machine operator duties.
- I also learned to work with the artificial intelligence that was brought on to the production floor.
- I completed required paperwork and production records and reported issues to supervisors when they arose.
- Attention to detail was an essential skill as well as the adherence to all safety protocols.
- I was notably a hard worker and team player according to those who had worked with me.
- I had no problems with the physical demands of the job which very frequently included lifting 40 lb boxes as well as using a pallet jack to move products and lifting of 5 lb buckets.
- In fact I was frequently placed on the fastest machine on the floor and was able to adhere to production demands.
- In essence I was vital to the envelope manufacturing process ensuring proper quality and quantity of envelopes on a daily basis.
