I'm an overcomer. I lost my husband in 1999 and 6 years later I lost my 14 year old son. I've traveled challenging roads. I know all about forgiveness and today I'm better than Ive ever been.
I've experienced the stages of grievance. I often tell my story in AA meetings in hopes of helping the next one in-line.
I understand the difficult situation in addiction. Ive been around the abuse since i was a kid. Addiction runs in our family since a i was a young child.
Ive always wondered how someone could hit that level of no conscience, Until i was in the situation myself. I am a overcomer, I will celebrate my sobriety of ten years this December 22, 2019. I can relate to the sympathetic and empathic side of this horrible disease.

I was employed at 164 Recovery as a advocate. I gained a huge interest in becoming a therapist to help individuals walk the destructable road of addiciton and beating the disease.
