I am a 26-year veteran of the Vanderbilt University Police Department and have had a well-rounded career first serving as a patrol officer and field training officer on both campus and in the medical center for ten years. I then moved into Criminal Investigations where I worked on several high-profile cases, gained a massive amount of experience and was promoted to Sergeant and then Lieutenant. My next position was in Compliance & Accountability where I worked extensively on CALEA, TLEA and IACLEA assessments, records requests, employment backgrounds, served as a Dignitary Protection officer and assisted with Internal Affairs and special investigations. Currently I am in the new role of VUMC Community Relations and Victim's Assistance with a strong emphasis on reducing workplace violence.
