I work with EL learners from K-5. A great majority are at risk students. SEI's main focus is to develop and strengthen language art skills. My primary instructional areas of instruction are in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Ultimate goal is for these student to test PROFICIENT in the state's language assessment test.

I taught English as a second language to adults. I addressed the three levels of proficiency: Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced. These levels were all in my classroom; thus, I planned effectively to incorporate all levels.

Taught 3rd grade state standards and used differentiated instruction to reach all students. I firmly believe in establishing a good rapport with my students, and provided a positive learning environment.
