Internships organized by my high school in collaboration with hotels and travel agencies for three years (2012-2014), for the duration of two weeks to a month. It taught students about tourism, the world of hotels, accommodation and travel.

Internship in Hotel Concorde Fiera (Gerenzano, Italy) and Hotel Delle Fiere (Mozzate, Italy). Main features:

• Learning how a hotel works related to marketing and economical aspects
• Performing front-desk duties supervised by a hotel worker: handling bookings, check-ins and check-outs, customer service and translating
• Performing office duties: answering emails and phone calls and organizing transfer for guests to/from the hotel
• Checking the condition of the rooms before a new guest moved in

Internship in Travel Agency Viaggi al Massimo (Vedano Olona, Italy). Main features:

• Learning about how travel agencies, tour operators and travel organizations work
• Performing front-desk duties: customer service, answering phone calls and emails, assisting the main travel agent with bookings and reservations
• Performing office duties: organizing possible itineraries for national and international travels, learning how to communicate with tour operators and how to use the tour operators websites and tools
