• MICN (Mobile Intensive Care Nurse)- Radio room nurse to manage and oversee all paramedic and emergency medical technician traffic in Sand Diego's East County.

• Staff nurse on the AIDS care unit, telemetry, and urgent care/ back up ER.
• Duties include triaging patients in urgent care, administering medications, performing wound care, and patient teaching.
• Extensive work with central lines, intravenous therapy, and parenteral nutrition.
• Worked as staff nurse until hospital closure on 7/5/97.

• Case Manager for adults with developmental disabilities in community residences.
• Healthcare advocate, assistance with medical appointments, and staff training.
• Oversee all personal care of residents.
• Ensured all medical needs were met according to state guidelines.

• Worked as a nurses aide and residential communities for adults afflicted with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and chronic physical conditions.
• These experiences laid the foundation for life-long nursing career and understanding the value of patience, acceptance, tolerance, and justice for all in need.

• Worked on medical-surgical floor designated for variety of patients: Cystic Fibrosis, gastrointestinal disorders (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis), and post-cardiac catheterization-electrophysiology- ablation.
