I am the oldest of eight children, six girls and two boys. Being the oldest, I have learned how to be a leader and good example for my younger siblings. As a student, kindergarten through senior year, I was a very diligent student. For example, starting in the third grade, my mother would often have to take homework away from me as I would go above and beyond what was actually due. As a cashier and a housekeeper, I was able to exercise consistent politeness and professionalism towards customers.
As an employee, I have complete respect for my job and I make sure I am on time for every shift. I am also respectful towards my boss and coworkers, and diligently complete the task that is required of me. If I lack the knowledge that I need to complete a task, I am very open and eager to learn, so that I may fulfill it. My motives, as an employee, is to do my absolute best and to be a positive part of the whole.
There are many jobs I could consider, but I am most interested in working at Thomas More College. Being at the college now, I see the beautiful culture that springs forth from the campus and I do not want to be apart from that in the summer. I also see it as a positive work environment for anyone and I desire to put myself in those surroundings.
Navigate many projects effectively at the same time
In the tenth grade I became a volunteer junior fire fighter at the local fire department. I craved to give back to my community and I was very interested in search and rescue. Being on the fire department, I was put through training. The training paid of and I was able to go out on calls and aid fellow firefighters in the endeavor to save the lives of many and the houses in the community.
