Work History

Client Account Manager

United Healthcare
09.2000 - 06.2025
  • Cultivated strong client relationships through active listening and addressing needs and concerns, leading to increased client satisfaction.
  • Began employment at UnitedHealthcare in September 2000, initiating my journey in customer care. I originally worked in customer service, then went on to work in adjustments and projects, and finally appeals before becoming a Service Account Manager. In customer service, I collaborated with all business segments and teams to make sure any specific benefits were being applied accordingly and to avoid any escalations. As a result, I was awarded the Service Hero Award winner in 2012.
  • Served as the primary contact for customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns., managing inquiries across customer service, medical and behavioral claims, pharmacy, and financial accounts. Updated Standard Operating Procedure documents to simplify and streamline processes. In my latest role, I was responsible for weekly and monthly trainings, as well as working side by side with the Premier advocate team running chats and being there for any escalated issues.
  • Within appeals, I was in charge of the Performance Guarantee teams, and worked diligently in learning benefits for all customers, both existing and new business. As a subject matter expert, I was able to conduct training to my peers and staff, and became the go-to person for the clinical department as well as other parts within the organization.
  • Discussed my recent role at United HealthCare, detailing responsibilities and experiences.
