I am looking to use my expanding knowledge and skills within both Healthcare Revenue and Clinical Research Financial analytics. I am proficient at organizing and prioritizing my workload. I thrive in time sensitive work and find that creating my own standard of work helps me complete tasks efficiently. I take pride in being a results-driven financial professional with significant experience in budget management and cost analysis. I have experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and strategic planning. I bring strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to addressing fiscal challenges.
I am currently employed with Ochsner Clinical Research as a budget analyst under Financial Operations. Here I conduct reviews of budgets, contracts, ICFs, and protocols submitted under both Industry and Federal sponsors, working closely with Coverage Analysts to establish proper billing and standard of care designations. Developed labor budgets and in-house budgets that accurately represented the requirements necessary for our site to conduct clinical trials. Collaborated with clinical team supervisors to capture labor, CPT, and other financial needs for negotiations. Conducted negotiations for both the per subject budgets and payment terms outlined in the contracts submitted to our site. Within my role, as the forward- facing representative to our site, we are expected to not only produce thorough and accurate negotiations, but also to meet our own internal deadlines in which studies are expected to go live for enrollment. Additionally, in the closing of the study negotiation process we are also responsible for finalizing all budgets into Oncore so that post award billing can proceed.
I was responsible for assisting with managing over 300 properties. Here I was responsible for the accounts receivable and accounts payable aspects of the front office. This included tasks such as collecting rent, sending out notices, creating reports of overdue fees, answering calls, processing and handling most work orders, following up on leads and assisting with showings. Served as a proactive assistant, eager to take on new challenges. Thrived in fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining accountability for task completion. I enjoyed this position but left due to my move to Alaska with my husband in June 2019.
I was the Sales/Marketing Assistant and shipping coordinator at Regulator Marine, Inc. Throughout my time at Regulator I assisted in nearly all sales and marketing projects under the VP of Sales and Marketing. Created competitor research data projects and local radio commercials to promote the company. I also took the initiative to create new standard of work procedures that I felt would help the communication in my department, organize and track rebates, and maintain accurate records. Collaborated with the engineering department to process sales orders from dealerships nationwide. Communicated with dealerships to resolve issues and address inquiries regarding orders. Coordinated the timely and safe shipment of all boats from the factory to the dealerships. I coordinated all shipments to meet deadlines, customer needs, and boat shows that Regulator attends. All drivers communicated their needs to me and we worked together to make sure all shipments are safe, legal, and successful. I left this position to find a job that was closer to my home.
