In 2007 I was promoted to the position of Robotic Surgery Coordinator, and attended the Robotic Surgery Coordinator Training Program at Intuitive Surgical @. Attended courses for the purpose of "vein harvest", at the University of St. Louis Medical School in 2007. I have been working as a ("grandfathered"), First Assistant for the last 10 years between the specialties of Cardio-Thoracic, Vascular, General and Robotic Surgery, having harvested vein in both the "open", and Endoscopic techniques, and assisted on all types of Cardio-Thoracic cases. In 2013-2014 attended and completed a course at the Meridian Institute of Surgical First Assisting. In September of 2014 passed the national certifying exam for Surgical First Assistants.
