Compassionate professional with experience in personalized care and behavior intervention. Skilled in developing tailored care plans and fostering positive environments for clients. Dedicated to enhancing quality of life and ensuring safety.
I would like to add that I have been working professionally in education and care for over 40 years combined. On a personal note, I have a brother who became TBI and was in a coma for 4 plus months, whom I worked with to help him gain his functions and quality of life. I have very few disabilities and illnesses that I have not worked with. I was also awarded a grant from DDS for my program plan designed for transitioning the disabled into the community.
My duties include but limited to tutor and social development of SPED students. Supervision during recess, field trips . I am also trained in behavior intervention and also medical intervention. Some of my skills include working with hearing impaired and monitoring and intervention with medically fragile students, ie diabetic and non ambulatory. I am fairly fluent in ASL and I have had 3 years of training and classes in ASL and the deaf community.
