I also led recruitment initiatives to engage students and young adults, empowering the next generation to take part in shaping a more just and equitable California. I served as an Assembly District Delegate to the California Democratic Party, representing over 185,000 Democratic voters across Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Northern Sonoma, and Trinity Counties, alongside 13 other progressive leaders.
As one of only two delegates under the age of 21 among the party's 1,120 members, I proudly represented the most Rural & Native American Populated, assembly district in our state, by fiercely championing progressive policies, ethical party leadership, and meaningful political reform. My work aimed to ensure the party better reflects and serves the diverse voices and values of it's members from every corner of our state.

Worked as a paid canvasser for SCCA on various days on behalf of Measure I, Our Kids, Our Future, in the November 2024 General Election.
Engaged with voters across Sonoma County to provide details about the measure, which sought to raise $30 million for affordable preschool, daycare, and after-school programs, and access to pediatric healthcare for lower-income families, overseen by the First 5 Commission of Sonoma County, via a 1/4 cent tax. Successfully passed with 62.5% of the vote.

Contributed to a wide range of responsibilities including leading postcard writing, canvassing door-to-door, securing key endorsements, creating campaign flyers, recruiting volunteers, and co-designing campaign materials—such as developing the color scheme for the campaign logo.
These efforts, in collaboration with a dedicated team, helped elect the first Latina to the Santa Rosa City Council in its 156-year history, winning with a decisive 62.2% of the vote.

From October 2023 to May 2024, I served as a student representative for over 16,000 students at Santa Rosa Junior College, participating in regional and statewide meetings of the Student Senate for California Community Colleges (SSCCC).
During this time, I authored and successfully passed resolutions at the 2024 SCCCC General Assembly on key issues including SCCCC election reform, LGBTQ+ staff training, and campus environmental initiatives.
Additionally, I engaged in legislative advocacy on policies related to the repatriation of Indigenous artifacts held in school collections, access to free mental healthcare, increased support for housing-insecure students, expanded funding for campus food pantries, and gender neutral bathrooms on school campuses.

I also utilized our surplus budget to create an SBA-funded scholarship, an emergency relief grant, a police oversight committee with student representatives, and a trust to accumulate funds for future student government use
