- I have just returned from Alaska for the summer. I worked on a train that took tourists up a mountain side and gave a tour to all the passengers about the history of the railroad and the history of the town of Skagway. If I was not giving a tour I would roam the train cars and answer any questions passengers may have about the tour or the train and help them in any way that may make them more comfortable. I would also help with the train functions like air brakes and train car conditions.

- I helped build houses, barns, decks and sheds which consisted of measuring the area of the building, building walls and making cuts from measurements so they would fit flush with the other structures. I would also carry supplies and sheets of plywood to others and assist them in putting them all together. If there were new employees it was my job to train them in the job duties and get them prepared to do the job to their best ability. If there was not a project for me at the time I would drive the lift and assist the others in what they needed.
