Coming from a rural area in northern Louisiana and a high school with only 18 other students in my graduating class, I was not meant to succeed. But after realizing my potential, I became the first student from my school to attend a top 20 school in the nation. I came to Notre Dame with high aspirations and hope to make the university even better than it already is.
-I spoke in front of over 100 Belmopan residents about my spiritual journey.
-I worked closely with the Belmopan community and met over 200 residents of the area to learn more about their culture.
-I worked approximately 10 events in the Belmopan area with varying leadership roles at each one.
-I worked on various projects in Belmopan and helped restore/rebuild a major bridge in the area.
-Public Speaking: I have spoken to over 20,000 individuals across the nation and Belize for various events and organizations
-Leadership Capabilities: In high school, I held leadership positions on local, state, and national levels for multiple clubs
-Dedication: I have founded my own non-profit from scratch and have built it to an organization that has donated over $20,000 to members of my local community
-Organization: I have organized and/or ran multiple events/conventions for multiple clubs with attendance ranging from 300 to 8,000 people
-Resourcefulness: Coming from an area with limited opportunities for students, I have been able to utilize everything that I have been given to to get where I am today
