Assistant City Highway Repairers (Arterials Division) assist in the Emergency 311 City Street/Highway operations ranging from traffic collisions to natural disasters.

• Repairing Emergency 311 City Street/Highway potholes to dispose of traffic safety hazards. Operations include the use of Safety Trucks, Traffic Cones, Warning Lights, Hot Asphalt, Diesel Fuel.
• Repairing Emergency 311 City Street/Highway guards rails after traffic collisions. Operations include the use of Safety Trucks, Traffic Cones, Warning Lights, Welding Torch, Pneumatic Drills, Guardrails.
• Emergency Traffic Collision Clean Up- assisting in the cleaning of city streets and highways by disposing of: Car Debris, Removal of oil/gasoline/diesel spills.
• Repairing Emergency 311 City Street/Highway chain link fencing after traffic collision or natural disasters with the use DOT Safety Trucks, Traffic cones, Warning Lights, Welding torch, and hand tools.
• Operating a DOT Class B Safety truck with illuminated digital safety signals for City Street/ Highway Operations

Perform/Assist National Grid Live Gas Qualified Mechanics and Field Trainers with the following responsibilities/duties.

• Locate and Repair live gas leaks in populated Business/Residential districts.
• Repair High/Low Pressure Gas Mains (Cast Iron, Coated Steel, Polyethylene Plastic) with the use of Encapsulation Kits, Cast-Iron clamps, Full Seal Clamps, Butt Fusion Repair Sleeves, & Shrink Sleeves.
• Replace High/Low Pressure Gas Mains (Cast Iron, Coated Steel, Polyethylene Plastic) when corrosion and exposure has occurred.
• Perform Relays/Wall sleeves (New Residential gas services) with Meter & Low-Pressure steel pipe installation.
• Aerate residual gas reads in business/residential districts from previous gas leaks.
• Operate Bascom Turner C.G.I (Combustible Gas Indicator)/Pneumatic
  Jackhammers/Pneumatic Aerators/ Pneumatic Hand-Tamper, Gas Powered Whacker Rammers.
• Excavate pavement, concrete, and clean fill dirt.
• Block off and secure city streets after gas/water main combustion/explosions.
• Operate with FDNY/DEP to conduct live gas leak investigations and repairs.

As a patient transporter my responsibilities are to oversee the following:

• Arrivals and Departures of patients
• Contacting each Hospital wing, floor, and specific department to ensure safe arrival
• Responsible for patients’ safety, oxygen, stretcher maintenance, patient mobility from bed to bed, infill and out fill, etc.

Oversee HVAC projects ranging from Major Retail to Commercial office spaces, as well as BMS (Building Maintenance Systems) from start to finish.

• Responsible for obtaining subcontractors and coordinating through General Contractors, tin knockers, BMS Control Electricians, Steamfitters, Chemical Cleaning Mechanics, CFM Controllers, Pump Mechanics, Trane Unit startups as well as risers.
• Major commercial project accounts include the following: Empire State Building,
  Estee Lauder, Starbucks, Nike, Vornado, SL Green and Match.com

Installing LED lighting, low voltage/high voltage wiring, electrical outlets/receptacles, condensate pumps, service panels, etc.
Major jobsites participated on include the following: Emblem Health, Queens, American Museum of Natural History, and Hunter College.

• Installing/ Retrofitting LED Light Fixtures and Ballast Low Voltage and BMS (Building Maintenance System) wiring:
• Thermostat Installation HVAC Startup/ Installation.
• Condensate pump wiring and installation.
• Fire Alarm Installation
  

Diagnose and fix electrical problems, such as:

• Electrical malfunctions
  
• Breaker trips
  
• Faulty wiring
  
• 220amp high voltage wiring/troubleshooting.
  
• Installing of electrical outlets/receptacles.
