Global Leaders is a service-learning and leadership nonprofit that empowers local high school students to become leaders in their communities through impactful volunteer work across Northern Colorado. The role of the Work and Earn Coordinator is to work in the office alongside the high school students in the program. A coworker and I also took on the new role of finding and setting up meetings with potential sponsors. In the office, I would work on spreadsheets of donation information and give recruitment presentations to students at the high schools. In April, we had two benefit auctions in which I participated during the many months of preparation. I also instructed and assisted the students in running the auctions.

I assisted classes at my dance studio while I was in high school. I would demonstrate moves, do warm-ups, and take over when the instructor was out. I also took over a class of 8- to 10-year-olds for two months while an instructor was on maternity leave.
