My supervisor took a managerial promotion and I was promoted to the supervisor of the team. My role drastically changed. I was the main point of contact for all things project related. I ensured the quality of the work was being maintained by us, as a crew. I scheduled pick up and drop off of our new/old components with 3rd party truck, scheduled our orientation and post job walk downs with the site managers/technicians, completed all our paperwork and job documentation. The team was very young and inexperienced when i took the supervisor position. I took great pride and immensely enjoyed teaching the younger crew members the job and the correct way to work.

As the Lead of the team, i helped delegate work when the supervisor was busy and helped impart work knowledge to the new crew members. I would run the crew when the supervisor was on his rotation. I began coordinating and communicating with both Liftra and Nextera more frequently. I enjoyed the increased responsibility and assisting the crew members in learning their tasks.

Worked on an MCE crew with a Liftra 1200 crane. We received Liftra's first MBC(sliding base) in October 2024. We almost exclusively exchanged Main Bearing Shafts on GE 2.X turbines. I was fortunate to be involved and assist in all scopes of work other than operating the Liftra crane.
