  • In addition, I completed structured assessment interviews with parents/care providers and conducted observations of the individual in appropriate settings such as home, school, or the community. I reviewed the patient's social history information, completed functional assessments, and targeted appropriate behavior baseline information for each referred individual.


  • More responsibilities as my role of a Behaviorist included, but were not limited to, ensuring that the behavior support plans and support services complied with quality standards and regulatory requirements, encouraging continuous age-appropriate active treatments and learning opportunities, advocating for the human and civil rights of the individuals receiving services from our agency by presenting behavior support plan information to the review committees, conducting classes and orientations as assigned by the program director, attending staff meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings, monitoring assigned cases and initiating termination/transition processes when appropriate, ensuring that the optimal caseload was maintained, assist in the intake process and assured that the documentation and records were kept confidential, organized, completed, and submitted to the supervisor in an accurate and timely manner.
