I got this job by supporting my best friend Marlon Williams at one of his ABA games… the coach walked up to me and said that everything I was yelling at the players in the stands, was correct…. And because some of the players respected me enough to listen… he gave me a shot to sit in the bench… 2 years later, to this day I’m calling plays I. Time outs, organizing practices, filming videos, etc for the team. Our Teams Owner Adam Salyer, is giving me an opportunity to potentially head coach as well… but u do prioritize my next career move as I intend to make it my top priority.

I worked directly for the Cavender family as an Internet Sales associate…. In 2025, I received an “Executive Award” for selling 187 units within the year (15 sold cars per month for every month in a calendar year). I recently transferred to their oldest store Cavender Buick GMC North, to help with their Internet sales team…. Change in management has affected my will to continue for Cavender ( President of operations Eric Barbosa left the company… and I am unsure of the direction our new COO is trying to take with our current store )

I was hired on by Chris Martinez / Roland Gonzalez and promoted to Internet Manager within the first couple weeks. I’ve written two books in regards to internet management, and am also very capable with video editing… a mix of video editing and book writing ( relating sports to sales / how to manage internet ) is what got me this position…. My general manager Chris Martinez resigned … and a new era of management came in

The internet manager position remained until about the time I was no longer with the company.

I wanted to try and master a new craft in sales! I figured…. If I can make $100,000 in time share and in car sales…. I’d one day be considered for a sales management / general management position!

This job was incredibly difficult for me at first… I had no personality compared to what I thought I had in car sales…. Time share made me open up more then I ever have in any other sales position! It got me to be better at communicating…. And although I failed at making $100,000 in the one year I did this… I did win a couple of sales competitions and made around $76k.

I was only 20 years old when I started working as a manager! I excelled in sales in my small town Laredo Texas due to my training in Houston Texas.

I dealt with 520 avg credit score for the 3 years I spent in Laredo, and mastered how to work with this type of credit customer. I even worked in special finance for our own finance company called “Thunderbird Finance”

I was given an office, and every lead that came in for “ Sames Ford/Mazda, Sames Kia, and our used car center came through me.

I left Laredo to find more opportunity in San Antonio… I wanted to sell more cars and help more people.

Had just come back from Houston… was attending University of Houston

Finished one year of college and came back home to sell cars after making my first $8,000 check in one month

First Sales Job…. Sold 12 cars per month (20-24 half deals….) didn’t know what I was doing but posted 20-50 used cars a day, and generated my own leads… gave the best salesman all my appointments and just basically acted as their assistant until I finally figured out what I was doing.
