Normal treatment includes schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar disorder, substance abuse disorders, opioid abuse, major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and all personality disorders. I normally work with advanced stage dementia and behavioral problems on the gerontological unit. I use all forms of long acting injectables and have excellent knowledge in all psychotropic medications. Additionally, I work in collaboration with other providers, social workers, and therapists. I also am consulted to see medical patients that are having psychiatric issues. I also work in an outpatient setting and see many patients that I have treated in the hospital. I take referrals from outside entities as well. We have started a MAT program at the facility and currently offer psychotropics for all mental health disorders. I work in collaboration with therapists and social workers in the outpatient setting. I currently prescribe suboxone, naltrexone, and vivitrol to many patients. I pride myself on having strong clinical judgment and improving the wellness of my patient population. I utilize attentive and empathetic practice to better patient outcomes.
