Operations and Frontline Leadership Oversees all aspects of staff management and personnel aligned geographically within the Environmental Business Unit. Primary responsibility is to attract, develop and retain staff aligned the Environmental Business Unit. Effectively manages a team of 29 direct reports from diverse backgrounds, ranging from junior engineers and scientists to senior subject matter experts and technologists by aligning their success with that of GES and company. Accountable for the health and safety performance and utilization of delivery resources including staff satisfaction, operational governance and adherence to enterprise processes and policies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Optimizes financial utilization and workforce plans for pool of aligned resources by balancing utilization across levels to ensure staffing profitability
• Works with Client Sector leadership and the sales team to develop effective and efficient delivery strategies for new and existing projects
• Provides leadership support for Project Managers and Program leadership during project delivery on staffing and technical issues
• Manages career development and long-term goal planning and coaches aligned staff on their capabilities that provide opportunity for real world skill experience and near-term professional development.

• Project Highlights
• Oct. 2014 to Present: US Air National Guard. Project Manager for $5.844MM Fixed Firm Price Performance Based Contract. Project includes a comprehensive set of environmental restoration services, including remedial investigation, feasibility study, proposed plans-decision documents, remedial design, remedial action construction and operation, long-term monitoring, compliance, reporting, public involvement, and site closeout at 22 Sites located at 12 US ANG Installations in the northeast US.
• Managed the design, construction and operation of one of the first US Air National Guard’s groundwater treatment system specifically intended to address the remediation of Perfluorinated Compounds (PFCs) at the Vermont Air National Guard Base in Burlington, Vermont.
• 2008 to 2013: Confidential Commercial Client, Fenrdale, MI. Project Manager for Corrective action and site redevelopment for 14-acre facility, located in a small industrial corridor bordered by a major railroad track and residential communities. This project highlights the cost-effective, schedule-driven, full-service delivery, enhancing the owner’s image in the community, and cleaning up the site and simultaneously putting it back into productive use. Responsible for stakeholder coordination, including client, MDEQ, site redeveloper, and local community.

• 4 years project management experience as consultant to various industrial clients, including natural gas, automotive, and manufacturing industries.
• Project management in dedicated program for major account client in the natural gas industry, developing in-depth knowledge of industry operations and strong client relationships.
