Matthew Harrell

My name is Matthew Harrell, I have many mixed skills from hands-on tasks, and outside work, and technological skills from design to video, photo, and audio editing. I'm willing to do anything that is given to me. I am a fast learner so you won't have to supervise me constantly. I can work individually or with a team and am reliable. Some of my strengths are problem-solving, creative thinking, and decision making which will be beneficial to your company. My recent experience was in maintenance, heavy machinery, and landscaping. Another experience I have is being president of the Media and broadcast program of Cedar Crest High School. I also do freelance gigs like video recording and editing.

• Best Comedy Award Winner, Student Television Network, 03/01/23, Every year STN holds an annual film convention and competition. I had an Idea for a comedy based in our school. So, we started making the show, and halfway through we had the opportunity to submit one of the episodes. I submitted episode four of our show to STN. At the STN Convention, they dedicate one day where they host an Oscars-type show, which is where they hand out the awards, to the people who submitted their projects. One of the categories is best comedy, which is where I submitted my film. My film placed first and was awarded a trophy at the live event.
• Runner-Up in Best Live Production, Student Television Network, 03/01/23, STN encourages students to strive for their best work. So they run broadcast competitions. They run congruently with their STN Film Competitions. One of the categories at the award ceremony was Best Live Production, where my school submitted a live show of CCHS Today. We recorded one of the daily shows that we do for our school. After it was live-streamed, we submitted it to STN, which won second place at the awards ceremony.
