I am a born and raised Minnesotan. Growing up I was referred to as creative, kind, and smart. In High School I got good grades and had several leadership positions. In my senior year of High School I suffered a mental breakdown. I was able to graduate High School and volunteer for the Beto O'rourke Presidential campaign but dropped out of College (Gustavus Adolphus) later that year. Last year I attended Hamline University but dropped out after a semester with good grades. I am trying to find the right path for myself in getting back into the real world. My entire life I've had a deep love and fascination with sharks and fish in general. Although I would not directly be working with them through this job I would love to work for Sea Life in any way possible.
Volunteer work entailed: door knocking, phone calling, and event preparation and attendance.
I was captain of the clarinet section with my High School marching band. Work entailed: teaching members of my section how to read and play the music assigned to us as well as teaching and helping them learn how to march. Positive reinforcement, motivation, and conversations with members. Communication with staff members including weekly meetings. Sign making, individualized for each member. Leading sectionals solo handedly where we'd review music and drill.
