• Worked across the entire tech org to create an internal system for service ownership for 60+ product lines, leveraging Cortex.io and infrastructure as code with TypeScript. Allows developers to define service information in their repositories which gets ingested into our system, creating a hierarchy of our business units, products, and services, how they map together, and the teams that own them. Built custom integrations with this system which combine service information with our third party tools, and created a rule/scorecard system which allows us to track and report a service or teams performance against our global technical standards.
• Created a backend application to track various information about infrastructure utilizing Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. The application is built fully with IaC utilizing AWS CDK and written in TypeScript.
• Leveraged Terraform CDK using TypeScript and Github Actions to build a platform for Site24x7 resources, allowing developers to create and manage their own url/ssl monitors as code from their repositories with a simple config file.
• Coached team members in AWS CDK and TypeScript standards to accompany new organizational goals.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and incident resolution for issues across 60+ product lines.

• Migrated legacy monitoring systems to the Splunk Distribution of Open Telemetry for ~5000 on premises virtual machines. Created a custom control plane which utilizes an event driven system which allows collectors to update their configuration and versions independently by subscribing to an event bus, where SRE can publish events to update subsets of machines, eliminating the need to manually manage them. Leveraged powershell and bash for OS level operations, and golang for the event system's logic, totaling over 7000 lines of code.
• Designed and implemented a powerful, real time, bi-directional integration between Jira and ServiceNow utilizing their API's and python - allowing tickets to create themselves and remain in sync across the two platforms for several teams who had the use case, bringing uniformity to a disjointed way of working.
• Directly managed consultants and orchestrated the delivery of a massive, robust and automated service catalog which standardizes common SRE requests.
• Led, designed, built, and implemented a reliable and versatile automation platform to reduce toil from common manual operations. SRE can use the building blocks exposed by the platform to more easily automate common requests - successfully fulfilling over 8000 requests to-date, saving SRE an average of 15 minutes per request.
• Coached team members and created a thorough video training series on how to utilize our automation tooling.
• Strengthened core knowledge of common SRE tooling, technologies, and scripting languages.
• Obtained AWS certification to better align with organizational goals.

Worked with Walgreens on their RxRenewal project which sought to modernize all of their software (both internal and external) by re-architecting it and moving it into Azure.

• Utilized Azure DevOps to maintain code repositories as well as build and operate automation pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment, with the purpose of facilitating large enterprise application releases.
• Monitored automated build and continuous software integration process to drive build/release failure resolution.
• Managed microservice deployment utilizing Kubernetes and monitored pod health.
• Obtained AZ-104 certification to better align with organizational goals.

Possessed 3 internships totaling ~2 years of IT experience building full-stack web applications for local clients, primarily utilizing HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL:

• Created a social media system for Muskingum County which helped recovering addicts get sponsored by volunteers which met certain criteria, easing their transition back into normality.
• Created a web application to aid with Title IX case investigations on campus which allowed local police to collaborate with faculty and victims on a case.
• Created a static website for a local radio station to expand their online presence.
