•Coordinating and managing the workflow for 10+ Rad Techs for a Level I trauma center.
•Performing all diagnostic and fluoroscopy procedures, which include outpatients, inpatients, portable exams, Emergency Room patients, as well as trauma patients.
•Coordinate with the OR leader to ensure their cases have the required coverage.
•I work closely with the ER physicians by expediting all Radiologist reads with our remote reading site, which ensures timely exam results.
•I have forged a close relationship with other department leaders in order to ensure our patients get the service they deserve and their exams are completed before they’re discharged.
•DRMC is a fast-paced environment, which requires performing at a very high level. There are times when multiple trauma patients arrive to the ER all at once, and these high stress situations are ones that I thrive in. Providing care to a patient during the worst moments of their lives is something that I take great pride in. Patient satisfaction and expedited service are the cornerstones of my mission and values when it comes to patient care. I leave there knowing that we’ve made a difference in someone’s life, even if it’s for a split second.

•Represented the department during all State RHB inspections as well as the Joint Commission survey.
•In 2017, I implemented the LEAN methodology, which focuses on removing wasteful portions of our patient care process. After conducting a value stream analysis, we identified specific steps in our process that needed improvement. The result was more efficiency and a higher level of service for our patients. The LEAN methodology is something that I am very passionate about and still follow to this day.

•I established a good working relationship with the physicians at the urgent care as well as at the other Ortho clinics in the building.
This was truly a fun and gratifying place to work. In April of 2012, I obtained my Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration and was offered a leadership role at the main hospital. I’ve always looked back at my time at EIC with fond memories.
