- In May 2024, I was then promoted to the Director of Security reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer
- As the Director of Security I continued to work to address the security and schools needs to ensure a safer environment for our students, employees and visitors
- Working closely with the Head of School, School Administrators, local Law Enforcement and the Community I have developed, managed and implemented new policies and programs
- Areas of improvement include but are not limited to set policies and procedures on safety and security, access control procedures, accident prevention efforts, risk management, fire safety, emergency management, asset protection, parking control and traffic enforcement programs
- I have also implemented new training programs pertaining to matters of safety and security for site-based administrators and developed school improvement plans
- I am now responsible for supervising sixteen employees
- Ensuring 24 hour shift coverage as well as coverage for campus supported events
- All these duties were completed while working within our departments budget
