Matthew Nash

I worked on all of Jerry and Kristi Nash's Social Media Accounts, handling Business to Business interactions, securing sponsorships (Primarily Local Restaurants) and keeping the public well informed regarding any and all updates to their business. Discovery Properties is an AirBnB company located in the heart of Kenai, Alaska. I helped create content online, handled the messages which came through their email list as well as their Instagram account, and improved their SEO.

For three months I helped Dania and Chris Williams manage the sales end of their Seafood Company. My duties included:

• Developing and delivering engaging sales presentations to convey the quality, benefits, and price advantages of the product.
• Working the register and handling, logging, and managing the financial flow, both digitally and physically.
• Pitching ideas, recipes, and uses to the customers as it pertained to the products we sold.

For four seasons I worked aboard a 32'' Fishing Vessel in Bristol Bay, Alaska. During my time as a deckhand I served as the ships QC. As a Quality Control Specialist, my duties included:

• Maintaining the gear (Hardware + Software) which was used to harvest, process, and refrigerate the product.
• Logging and bookkeeping on behalf of the ship's manager regarding the Quantity, quality, and price of the product.
• Inspecting, verifying, and documenting quantifiable characteristics of finished goods by comparing against the buyers needs.

• Delivered equipment required for each project
• Engaged in Physical labor (Electrical, drywall, plumbing, woodworking)
• Studied plans for each job to gain an understanding of the materials, tools and work required.
