Summary

I worked extensively with many of the instructors at FSCJ helping the EMT and Paramedic students with hands on skills and scenarios. I helped many students with medical math and understanding EKG rhythms and proper treatment. Soft-tissue trauma injury management from bandaging to tourniquets and splints, all the way to full immobilization with c-collars and backboards. Worked with paramedics on passing ACLS and AMLS scenarios. Worked with my instructors teaching Stop the Bleed classes, specializing in combat medicine: MARCH assessments, rapid trauma rakes, tourniquets, wound packing, chest seals. I am currently working on my PHTLS Instructor Certification. I am hoping to gain more hands on experience working with patients and am willing to start at a lower position for the experience and the opportunity to grow stronger as a paramedic and provider.
