Matthew Sheets

As a member and leader of the Boy Scouts of America, this gave me many opportunities to lead and give back to my community through volunteer service. Some of these many volunteer opportunities included cleaning my community, participating in Wreaths Across America, feeding the homeless and needy and helping people I know with small favors like taking out their trash when they're away, mowing their lawn and helping out with a catering business run by a family friend's friend. I led others in different service projects and communicated and cooperated well with my peers.

As an assistant for Hatch House BBQ, I worked with others to prepare food in a timely and sanitary way to feed over 100 people. This was a short, temporary job to help a family friend, which gave me experience with working in a high-stress environment while also preparing food to satisfy people.
