My job description/title is a senior pastor. One of my duties is to shepherd my flock the good Lord has entrusted me with. My wife and I started a church in kingsport and I am currently the senior pastor of our church. Here are some other things I do with my job. I preach and teach the word of God. I guide people through depression, anxiety, anger, guilt and pain. I help guide people/families through tough times/circumstances. I help them to grow spiritually through the power of the Lords hand.

RUACH City Mission- is a branch of our church and we go out in the streets to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to the homeless in our community and surrounding counties. Another function of this is to also feed, cloth and pray with them while handing out bibles. To also comfort them in their trying times they are enduring.

RUACH City Closet-is another branch of our church and includes opening our church up to our community. We let the families in need in our community come in and fill a bag of clothes/shoes etc. for free. During these events, I also get to minister to them, pray with them and speak life into them.

RUACH Jail Miinistry-I also do jail ministry with men who are incarcerated and it brings me so much joy to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. To show them their is hope and they are forgiven for their sins.

Another important part of my role as senior pastor is to go into hospitals to minister to families and patients. I know the great comforter and I enjoy working with people who are in need of comfort and encouragement. I travel all the way down to University Of Tennessee UT Medical, all the way up to Johnson City Medical to Holston Valley or Indian Path to pray with families of patients that may not make it out of surgery. Also ministering to the ones fighting for their life! I I also have made hospital visits to non-believers and have no problem doing that as well. I just believe in showing and ministering the Love of Jesus Christ to people and meeting them right where they are at! I allow the Lord to do the work, I am only his vessel/hands and feet! I also make home visits to families and patients who need uplifting words spoken to them, encouragement in a time of distress, to the healing ministry of Jesus or just for a simple prayer. Speaking into the lives of patients in their last years, months or days here on earth is something I know the Lord has placed on my heart. I find so much joy in providing spiritual care/support to patients and families as they face end of life issues. My goal is to help them find peace and comfort in a unique way to match each persons values, morals and personalities.
