Supply Chain Management

• Consolidation program implementation and maintenance to maximize container space and minimize inefficient LCL shipments.
• Correspond closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3rd party warehouses, suppliers, sales team and customers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
• Collaboration with Purchasing & Sales teams to insure customer demands are met in the most efficient manner possible.
• Maintain ERP system information to ensure supply chain visibility for Sales, Purchasing, etc.
• Use KPIs to monitor costs, on time percentages, and overall supply chain performance.

Warehouse Management

• Interview, select and train warehouse and supervisory personnel
• Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products and materials
• Responsible for inventory at one internal warehouse and four 3PL warehouses in Rhode Island, California, and Canada.
• Insure that a safe work environment is upheld and OSHA regulations are adhered to.
• Maintain Material Handling Equipment.
• Forklift certified.

Distribution Management

• 3PL, direct tariff, LTL and small package rate negotiation.
• EDI, ASN, drop shipments and blind shipments.
• E-commerce logistics for small package, LTL freight, domestic and international.
• Reverse Logistics for E-waste recycle program, direct from customer to recycle facility.
• KPIs for small package and LTL programs.

Purchasing

• Maintain communication with suppliers during the production process to ensure timely delivery and required quality.
• Update and maintain accurate information for the sales team, purchasing manager, logistics manager, planning system, and vendor performance report.

Logistics

• Maximize import efficiency by planning consolidated containers.
• Collaborate with vendors, freight forwarders, and customers to guarantee timely and accurate delivery internationally.
• Collect and process necessary customs documents for submission to brokers, customers and sales staff.
• Enter received product into the system for warehousing and shipment.

Quality Assurance

• Evaluate pre-production samples, first article samples, and incoming production samples to verify adherence to specifications.
• Inspect returned product to verify defects or duplicate problems.
• Test new product development samples to establish specifications and corroborate performance
  

• Build rapport with customers, while investigating their needs in order to provide a tailored, thorough presentation/demonstration of the product.
• Ensure smooth and professional transitions to the Finance & Insurance department.
• Create a quality guest experience from the first impression to the delivery of the vehicle.
