I am a senior at Texas State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Pre-Rehabilitation and a minor in Sports Psychology. My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in human movement, injury prevention, and the psychological components of performance and recovery, all of which have deepened my commitment to becoming a patient-centered physical therapist. I am passionate about integrating evidence-based practice with compassionate care to help individuals restore function, build resilience, and improve overall quality of life.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as Secretary of Sigma Phi Lambda (Sisters for the Lord), where I help lead and support over 50 members with organization, integrity, and empathy. In this role, I coordinate communication efforts, foster collaboration, and encourage involvement in philanthropy, community service, and meaningful sisterhood. Through this leadership experience, I have strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, manage responsibilities with diligence, and serve others with grace and compassion. All qualities that I will carry forward into my future career as a physical therapist.
