•Complete and maintain training/certification as a LEIN TAC. This includes ensuring monthly validations and 2nd party LEIN checks are completed. Handling the state audit as needed and acting as a contact/liaison between WBPD and MSP LEIN Field Services -2nd party checks -Monthly validations -Audit lead -Add/delete/maintain users -Teach LEIN classes to trainees, pass out updates and new information as needed to all Dispatchers.
•Act as a contact/liaison between WBPD and other township departments regarding radio, telephone, and computer communications or usage and questions as needed or directed by the Dispatch Manager and/or Administrative Lieutenant. -Report outages/problems -Clarify confusion on runs/resources/etc. -Any requests for reports/recordings or further information regarding a phone call, run or incident need to go through the Dispatch Manager and/or Administrative Lieutenant. •Ensure that the monthly proficiency training is completed by all Dispatchers.
•Maintain CAD links in CLEMIS for WBPD, WBFD, Orchard Lake, Keego Harbor and Sylvan Lake as well as maintaining common places, premise information, street aliases, and intersections.
•Maintain users/personnel and information for ECW/Texty. •Create monthly call reports on Decision Station through ECW.
•Ensure the weekly reboots of ECW and CAD happen in a timely manner.
•Ensure any software upgrades/updates prompted through CLEMIS or WBPD are completed on all work stations in a timely manner.
•Act as a primary liaison between WBPD and District/Circuit Courts regarding entry/cancellation of warrants, bond conditions, probation orders and PPO’s. •Implements/maintains office procedures within dispatch. Organizes filing systems, maintains files.
•Complete the monthly schedules for approval by the Dispatch Manager and/or Administrative Lieutenant.
•Work with the Fire Department to maintain fire maps for the PSAP
•Maintain a business listing in the PSAP of those located in West Bloomfield, Orchard Lake, Keego Harbor and Sylvan Lake with assistance of those departments and WBPD Community Relations Officer.
•Work with Dispatch Manager to create/maintain PSAP evacuation resources that may be needed in the event that the PSAP Operations needs to be moved to another facility.
•Assisting with management of the CTO Program as directed by the Dispatch Manager.
•Any other duties as directed by the Dispatch Manager, Administrative Lieutenant or Chief of Police.
