With me, an organization gets someone who is trustworthy, kind, and hardworking. I have learned to communicate effectively and multitask in ways that allow me to learn quickly. This is demonstrated by the results of my honors and AP courses along side the community involvement I've been apart of. I have a passion for making a difference each and every day and I believe this brings value to any team.
Babysitting has required me to be attentive and caring for the people around me. It has helped me gain communication skills I can apply to both children and parents.
Believe Guatemala serves the garbage dump community of Guatemala city. I have participated in two mission trips and I have my third planned in July of 2024. Alongside the mission trips, I have raised money for Believe Guatemala in other ways such as organizing an annual garage sale and hosting many other fundraisers. I have also taught women remotely how to make jewelry that can be sold in their community. Through the course of this work, I have been able to use my Spanish language to communicate and connect with people around the world.
On a monthly base I volunteer at Hope for Youth, an organization with a mission is to eliminate youth homelessness.
This job includes stocking shelves, organizing the food pantry, and taking drop-in donations.
I have gained experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and breeds. This work required reliability, patience, and adapting to the unique needs of each pet.
I have been nominated and accepted for student council.
Alongside intense coursework, I have been able to actively participate in club and school sports.
