- As a security officer, my job was to keep the community safe and secure. .. patrol apartment complexes, making sure laundry rooms pools and other facilities were locked and secure such as the maintenance sheds ,leasing offices and other important areas my duties were to patrol the property such as parking lots picnic areas, dog parks in the community. my duties were to look for any suspicious activity on property. i was to check the post orders when i arrived on site. to make sure there was no new information, or any new issues at that site, i would take a pic every 10 min with any information about transits or drug use on property.
