Accomplishments

For five years I was the starting goalie for the Bloomington Blades. Prior to that I played for the Tri-State Spartans, The Nashville Flyers, Owensboro Puck Hogs, Evansville Thunder and the Evansville Lightning. I started playing at 4 after watching the Ft.Wayne Komets play the Evansville Icemen at the Ford Center.

I started skating less than two weeks after that game, and signed up for my first season months later. I knew immediately I was a goalie, and always gravitated naturally to the net. I played until this past season, and hope to play again in the near future after MPFL surgery to repair my Patellar ligaments. I have dislocated both kneecaps, the right knee twice and my left knee for the third time this past summer.

Hockey has taught me perseverance, loyalty, respect, and most importantly, sharing a goal and shared culture with my teammates and coaches. My Blades family in particular showed me support and unwavering belief both on and off the ice. After losing everything I owned to a house fire in December of 2026, I honestly did not know if I would ever take te ice again. My coaches and teammates gave me time and space to heal, and i returned to play my best hockey, getting a shut out to move on to the state finals. We won the Commissioners Cup in the State of Indiana, and came in second in the 1A state Championship game.

I will use the skills and lessons I learned as I start my next endevor:Earning a degree in Sports Media and Management from Indiana University, Class if 2030.
