I have worked within the air emission measurement trade for fifteen years and have spent the past eight years as a senior project manager.   • I have worked within the Air Emission Measurement trade for fifteen years. I have spent the past eight years as a senior project manager.
  • I learned this trade from the ground up, mastering sampling techniques on the stack; now managing Criteria and Hazardous Air Pollutant testing programs.
  • I have overseen projects of all sizes to support teams, report progress, and influence positive outcomes for all costumers.
  • Prior to joining AIR/Alliance other responsibilities under ETS included the development of Source Test Protocols, Compliance Source Test Reports and advanced Excell spreadsheet programs. I oversaw equipment maintenance, calibration of sampling equipment and directed the preparation of sample equipment prior to each project. I was in charge of managing and training all stack technicians. Other responsibilities included laboratory, shop parts and supply inventory, vehicle maintenance records, and compressed gas inventory records. I also repaired and built source sampling equipment.

  • Onsite I am the point of contact with facility management and equipment operators to ensure a successful outcome of the testing effort.
  • Through years of performing emission testing in the Pacific Northwest as an employee under ETS, I have come to know most of the regulatory agencies and Source Test Coordinators with a good working relationship. My goal has always been to learn from mistakes and implement corrections in all areas of the company. This has helped with the legacy that ETS has. I have maintained professional relationships with 150+ ETS customers over the past ten years.
  • I have navigated my way through major and minor testing issues while staying within the parameters of the test methods. Any method or source test plan deviations minor or major are addressed with the customer. Testing does not commence until client and agency approval.
  • I am experienced in performing EPA test methods 1-8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16A, 16C, 17, 20, 23, 25A, 26, 26A 29, 201a, 202, and volatile organic methods including EPA 323, NCASI 99.02 and 98.01. I have extensive knowledge and experience with particulate matter and velocity determination when ducts or stacks produce cyclonic flow. Methods include Guidance document (GD) 008 and GD-008r. I've performed most all Oregon, California and Idaho state test methods.
